2010 Cayman

The new Cayman S embodies dynamism in its purest form. It signals permanent anticipation of action, possessing the agility only a mid-engine vehicle can harness. The Porsche Cayman S namesake is derived from the Caiman species of crocodile, known for its tenacious strength, unerring accuracy and swift reflexes. The lineage of the Cayman S includes a history of the most superior sports coupes ever produced.

Performance, acceleration and speed are the terms associated with the view of the new Cayman S. An effective synthesis of form and function in true Porsche fashion, the open design not only offers outstanding looks, but also provides additional cooling. The new automotive sensation from Porsche combines a taut, sculpted back with clearly defined lines that transition from the wheel housings to the mid-section of the vehicle.

The new Cayman S displays the classical elegance of the coupe with a muscular engine and a powerfully crafted exterior. At first glance, you see a Porsche. Upon closer examination, you see daring innovation and bold styling. The new Cayman S, with 295 hp and a top track speed of 171mph, is the next evolution in Porsche history.

2010 911 Carrera

When Ferdinand Alexander Porsche began development on a new six-cylinder engine in 1961, the well-established and highly respected sports car powerhouse of Porsche was paving a road of unprecedented automobile lore. At the 1963 Frankfurt International Automobile Show, the Porsche 911 debut made history. A booming industry watched as the company unveiled the first completely new model produced since the production of the 356. When initially introduced, the 911 featured a rear placed 6-cylinder air-cooled engine that went from zero to 60 mph in 8.3 seconds; an impressive triumph for cars of that era. In the following year, production of the 911 began, branding the Porsche emblem as the insignia of leading sports cars. Known for its outstanding performance in handling, acceleration and tremendous breaking capabilities, the 911’s racetrack performances supported the car’s already legendary persona, taking the championship in the Monte Carlo Rallye in 1969.

Almost ten years after the introduction of the first 911, Porsche created the legendary Carrera, the modern benchmark of its evolving brand. Improving upon the world’s premier luxury sports car, Porsche also unveiled the Cabriolet version of the 911 in the early 1980s. Then, in 1992, the 911 Turbo 3.6 made headlines by successfully defending Porsche's title against seven other manufacturers in the U.S. Supercar Championship, out-performing some of the most powerful production sports cars in the world. The history of the Porsche 911 is one of thoughtful innovation and revolutionary creativity. Inherent in every facet of its development, the 911 provided the automotive world with a definition for the essence of the sports car.

The 911's 44-year run is a story of inspirational craftsmanship and insightful initiative. Although several stylistic design changes were implemented during its lifetime, the original vision of the 911 still pervades the latest 2007 model. Revitalized, re-energized and ultra-modernized, the 911 reconstructs its sports car reputation with impressive speed and s ubtle style enhancements, raising the standard by which all other sports cars are judged. Packed with the latest in industrial design advances, mechanical technology and convenience electronics, this super sports car is tailored to the needs of daily driving. It personifies the cutting-edge of automotive engineering. With sharpened reflexes from decades of involvement in motor sports, the 911 continues to be the dream car of everyday life.

2010 Boxster

The classic styling of the Porsche Boxster is often misleading. Backed by the rich history of Porsche and their innovative, yet traditionally timeless design concept, most drivers don’t realize that the prototype of the Porsche 986 Boxster was only first shown at the 1993 Detroit Auto Show. An instant hit, the roadster was released in Europe in late 1996, and for the first time in the U.S. on January 4th, 1997 at the LA Auto Show, after only three and a half years of development. As a signal of endurance and lasting presence in the automotive world, Weissach, Porsche’s Research and Development center, celebrated its 25th Anniversary with the roadster’s release.

The year 2000 brought the introduction of the powerful "S" version, which boasted more power (250 horsepower compared to the standard Boxster's 217) along with upgraded brakes and suspension.

For 2007, Porsche has made its most significant revisions yet. The Boxster's 2.7-liter flat six-cylinder engine increases its horsepower rating from 225 to 240 and the S's 3.4-liter six moves from 280 to 295 hp. Enhancement of the new Boxster had only just begun with its redefined engineering. Dramatic improvements were made to its ergonomic design and interior amenities. As Porsche stays true to its heritage, the new Boxster offers a balanced blend of speed, style and sophistication.

At Porsche, the continual translation of mechanically inclined assets and engineering into peak performance is welcomed hard work. The 2007 Boxster is the culmination of years of experience and ingenuity honed within the walls of Weissach. It embodies all of the flair that made its predecessor a modern classic.

While all roadsters promise performance, the new Boxster delivers it as only a Porsche can: flawlessly. What makes driving a Porsche Boxster unique is the way it feels gliding over the road with a mixture of handling precision and potent acceleration that was forged over decades of Porsche motor sports competitions.

The new Boxster is the freedom of a roadster. It is sheer driving pleasure. Its body language is loud and clear: power fused with agility, stamina encased in elegance, superior technology wired through impeccable design. More than just a classic roadster, the 2009 Boxster is the all-encompassing sports car for those seeking exhilaration, excitement and acceleration.
